How to Buy a KittenThank you for your interest in our Siberians. On this page are the usual customer inquiries that will most likely answer your questions. If your questions are not answered, feel free to email us or message us on our Facebook page.
We are an established Siberian Cattery of over 18 years. Our kittens are raised in and among us, so they are used to children, vacuum cleaners, pianos, etc. Mile High Siberians is a member of the TICA registry. All our kittens are registered with the TICA. We hold the TICA papers until proof of spaying/neutering has been received. We are located in Westminster, CO. If you live out of state, we DO ship via sending the kitten with a personal courier that will carry your kitten into the airplane cabin with him to your nearest airport. Shipping is an additional $480. I no longer ship Internationally, sorry. Our kittens leave our home around 9-11 weeks of age. We also have a 2-year health guarantee. Breeder kittens…please inquire personally as prices vary depending on color. We operate from a waiting list. To get on the wait list we ask for a fully refundable $300 deposit. We encourage you to continue to look elsewhere for a kitten in case you can find one sooner from another cattery. If you do, just message us and let us know and we will refund your deposit. We “do” close our wait list from time to time when it starts getting up to 20 on the list. We supply a Siberian Facebook page where all of our customers can interact with one another for years to come after their purchase, and also so, we can stay in touch with you for the life of your pet. Our Facebook page is Mile High Siberians Our email is [email protected] As far as allergies go, every person is different, and every Siberian contains a different (although low) allergen level than the next. There are 3 in our family with cat allergies. My husband, daughter and one of our sons. They are allergic to regular cats, but both have no allergic reactions to our Siberian cats or their kittens. And, we have a houseful of Siberians. : ) We no longer do allergy testing but always give you a good hour or so visit when you are ready to come meet your prospective kitten of choice. Studies have shown that 80% of people with cat allergies have little or no reaction to the Siberian breed. The people that fall in the 20% range that do have an allergic reaction are usually those with severe allergies to cats and those with complications to asthma. |
